Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what information FastSpeedTest collects when you use the site at fastspeedtest.app , how it is used, and your choices.

FastSpeedTest does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not store your speed test results on any server. All test history is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device.

To measure your connection, your browser transfers data between itself and Cloudflare's global edge network. As part of any normal HTTPS request, this means Cloudflare can see your IP address, user agent, and approximate location. We do not receive or store this information. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy .

We use Plausible Analytics , a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR, CCPA and PECR compliant. Plausible aggregates page views, the country a visit came from, and which referrer linked to us. No individual user is identifiable.

FastSpeedTest may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or other third-party ad networks. When ads are enabled, those networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info .

Third parties, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to FastSpeedTest and/or other sites on the Internet.

FastSpeedTest itself does not set any cookies. We use localStorage to remember your theme preference and your local test history. Third-party services (such as advertising networks, when enabled) may set their own cookies subject to their own policies.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and California (and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws) see a consent banner on first visit. Personalised ads are not requested until you accept; if you reject, we use Google Consent Mode v2 to signal denial to all ad and analytics tags.

FastSpeedTest is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To clear your local test history, use your browser's "clear site data" tool for fastspeedtest.app.
