Fiber idle latency is typically 1-4 ms to the first hop. Cable is 8-15 ms. 5G is 15-40 ms, better than 4G but still higher than fixed lines.
Fiber is the most weather-resistant. Cable suffers under load when the neighborhood node is over-subscribed. 5G fixed wireless can degrade in rain, foliage, and during cell-tower congestion.
Fiber requires a technician visit and a wall drill. Cable usually does too. 5G fixed wireless is a self-install router that you put by a window, often available the same day with no contract.
